【新着コンクール】Magic of dance competition in Poland
メイクをなしにしたり、楽屋の使用時間を制限したり、客席の開放をなくしたりなど様々な感染防止対策をしながら開催されているバレエコンクールですが、舞台での開催を取りやめ、ローザンヌ国際バレエコンクールのようにオンライン開催に移行したコンクールも多くあります。
もともとオンラインで開催されるコンクールもあり、今回紹介するMagic of dance competition in Polandもそのひとつ。ポーランドで開催されるコンクールなのですが、オンラインだからこそ日本からでも参加できるといったメリットもありますね。

審査員には元ベルリン国立バレエ団プリンシパルのヴィスラフ・デュデック氏のお名前も。ポーランド語ですのでわかりにくいですが、翻訳アプリなどで訳しながら理解できるのではないでしょうか。
参加費用はソロのヴァリエーションで€10、パ・ド・ドゥなど2〜3人での演目は€15、それ以上の人数での参加費は€50とかなりお手頃な出場料ですので、海外のコンクールで自分がどのように評価されるか、試しにチャレンジしてみるのもいいかもしれません。入賞者は各部門1〜3位のほかグランプリや特別賞も授与されるとのことです。

こちらのサイトでまずアカウントを作るとメールが届きますので、ログインしてください。ログインすると出場者の登録ができます。
まず出場者を登録し、出場コンクール（INTERNATIONAL DANCE COMPETITION MAGIC OF DANCE）を選び、そこに登録した出場者を追加してビデオを送ってください。（We TransferまたはGoogle driveのリンク）

2. DATE AND PLACE:
21.02.2021, ONLINE (YouTube channel)
3. PURPOSE:
– popularization of various dance forms,
– confronting the artistic achievements of children’s and youth teams,
– integration of young dancers on over the world,
– developing the artistic sensitivity of children and young people,
– exchange of ideas and experiences in the field of working with dance teams,
– enabling participation in international projects without travelling.
4. PARTICIPANTS:
The competition is open to participants of cultural houses, private dance schools, associations, non-public ballet schools and non-affiliated participants
5. AGE AND DANCE CATEGORIES
5.1. DANCE CATEGORIES:
classical and neoclassical
modern
jazz
other forms (social dance is excluded)
5.2. AGE GROUPS
The competition for soloists, duets/trios and formations, in every dance category, will be divided into the following age groups:
children: 7-10 years old
kids: 11-13 years old
youth: 14-16 years old
open: 17 years old and older
The soloist and the duet/trio presents not more than 2 choreographies, both in different dance categories; the duration of one presentation must not exceed 2 minutes.
The formation presents not more than 2 choreographies of up to 3.5 minutes each, (provided that each choreography in different dance category).
Note: The Organiser reserves the right to combine or divide different age categories, depending on the number of entries.
5. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
6.1 Application
The participant must submit an application form, using the website: https://moja.kartazgloszen.pl. (available from 15th January)
The deadline is: 11th February 2021.
The number of presentations is limited. In the case of a large number of applications, the website application may be closed before the deadline.
Participation fee
Online participation is by video:
– soloist – 10 euro
– duet/trio – 15 euro
– formation – 50 euro

every participant must attach the video together with the application form on the website https://moja.kartazgloszen.pl. The mp4 file (max 250 MB) must be sent as WeTransfer or Googledrive link.
please describe the video file as follows:
SOLO: dance category – age group – school – name and sure name – title
DUO/TRIO: dance category – age group – school – names and sure names – title
FORMATION: dance category – age group – school – the formation’s name – title
e.g. modern – 11-13 years old – Dancestudio – Anna Kowalska – Impression
6.2. Jury and awards:
The members of the Jury are dance specialists: advanced dancers, choreographers, leading teachers, famous artists. The jury will be introduced on the website: www.konkursmagiatanca.pl and fhe fanpage facebook.com/KonkursMagiaTanca.
Evaluation criteria: technique of performance, choreography, general artistic expression.
The Jury will award I, II, III PLACE in the different age and dance categories and also Grand Prix prizes. The awards for the winners are medals and diplomas. The Grand Prix winners will also receive special prizes.
The Jury reserves the right not to award a place, if the level of presentations is not satisfactory. Participants who are not the winners – soloists / duets / trios / formations – will receive only diplomas of participation.
6.3. Statements
The participant declares that:
the data provided in the application is true and up-to-date,
the presentation do not endanger or violate the rights of third parties, in particular, do not infringe their property and personal copyrights,
agrees to public the name of the participant in the 1st International Dance Competition “Magic of Dance” and agrees to use the personal data for the competition purpose.
6. GENERAL INFORMATION:
the age category is determined by the participant’s year of birth,
in the formation, the age category may be exceeded of maximum 20% of its members,
all members of the formation must meet the age requirements according to the accepted criteria, otherwise the group will be moved to a higher age category,
the formation means minimum 4 members
each soloist/duo/trio/formation can submit up to 2 choreographies – each in a different dance category,
it is not permitted to submit the same presentation in different categories,
participants agree their personal data to be used by the Organizer for the purposes of this competition,
the order of presentation in the competition is determined randomly,
based on the jury decision, the soloist, duo, trio or formation may be classified in another dance category,
the Organizer reserves the right to close the list of participants before the specified deadline,
any changes must be submitted by 15th February 2021; after that date it will not be possible to edit the application,
all choreographies will be presented in the webcast and the link will be published on the competition website and the fanpage,
The Organizer reserves the right to reschedule the event in case of reasons beyond the control,
if any change of the date, the Organizer will notify all participants publishing the information on the website and by e-mail.
7. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION:
All participants (formations, soloists, duets/trios) must provide a video recording, using WeTransfer or Google drive to enable its downloading,
The recording should not be older than 6 months and must not be professionally assembled,
Video size and format: mp4 file, up to 250 MB
The Organizer is not responsible for a not sufficient quality of the uploaded video recordings.

In accordance with the article 13 of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council(EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC(General Data Protection Regulation) hereinafter referred to as Regulation, we inform that:

Providing your personal data is a requirement to attend the International Dance Competition MAGIC OF DANCE.
You are entitled to access your personal data i.e. the right to obtain confirmation if the administrator processes the data and the information concerning such processing, and furthermore the right to correct data if the data processed by the administrator is incorrect or incomplete, the right to object to the processing of data and the right to limit the processing of data. In the case of the exercise of the right to limit the processing, personal data will be processed in order to protect the rights of another natural or legal person, or because of important aspects of public interest of the European Union or a Member State
Your personal data will be processed in an automated way, nevertheless the decisions concerning you will not be automated and your data will not be profiled.
Your personal data will be deleted after 2 years of this competition date.
In the case of finding that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the Regulation, you are entitled to bring a complaint to the supervisory authority, that is to the President of the Office for the Protection of Personal Data (PUODO).
